Baltimore City Chromebook Distribution
As of April 28, 2025 the Chromebook distribution program is no longer active.
Between 2023 and 2025, the Pratt Library distributed 50,000 HP Chromebooks to eligible Baltimore City households in partnership with Baltimore City Information & Technology and the Maryland Office of Statewide Broadband. Through the Maryland Connected Devices Program (MD-CDP), efforts will continue to decrease the digital divide and increase digital literacy in the Baltimore City community.
As of April 28, 2025, the Chromebook distribution program is no longer active. Walk-in appointments are not available.
If you are interested in borrowing a Chromebook, the Pratt still has you covered. Chromebooks may be borrowed from any location by customers 13 or older with a Pratt Library card.
