Accessibility and Compliance Division

The Accessibility and Compliance Division monitors and evaluates overall library accessibility to ensure library compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as well as other federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to people with disabilities. We focus on accessibility of library programming, services, and spaces, both in-person and online, for every customer and employee. We also provide training and guidance to staff on accessibility services.

For a list of resources available throughout the library system, please visit our Accessibility Services page.

To request accommodations, ask questions, or report access concerns, please contact Erin Kelly, Accessibility Coordinator, 443-984-5850 or accessibility@prattlibrary.org.

Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)

The Equal Employment Opportunity office (EEO) offers logistical support for both employees and Library leadership. This includes administration and enforcement of federal and state equal employment opportunity policies and laws, ensuring that the Library administers actions in a fair and equitable manner, supporting employees and leadership with respect to equal opportunity, responding to complaints of discrimination from employees and other stakeholders, and providing vision & advice on organizational DEI and discrimination issues as they relate to Pratt’s policies, services & culture.

The EEO Intake form is available online here for complaints of discrimination, harassment, hostile work environment, and other EEO concerns.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)

The Enoch Pratt Free Library is committed to advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion. Transformation must occur on the individual, collective, and institutional levels, and the Pratt Library can help achieve true and sustained equity through intentional and systemic library-community partnerships.

The DEI office aims to assist in the building of a diversified workforce, to focus on the people and culture to assist the Pratt Library in operationalizing DEI system wide, and to impact change within the community and the Library's internal structures.
