Chief of Neighborhood Library Services

Chief of Neighborhood Library Services Jurée Hall joined the Enoch Pratt Free Library in August 2022 as Deputy Chief of Neighborhood Library Services. In this role, she oversees Neighborhood Library Services, which encompasses 21 Pratt Library branches spread throughout the city of Baltimore. The Neighborhood Library Services department connects Baltimore citizens to library branches in their community, where they can form relationships with Pratt Library staff invested in the community and enjoy programming, book recommendations, homework help, and a plethora of different activities and services.

Prior to moving to Baltimore from Atlanta to join our Pratt Library team, Jurée worked as an educator for KIPP Metro Schools and in various administrative positions in the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System. In Atlanta, Jurée launched and managed the library's first online learning platform serving patrons across 33 branch locations and in Atlanta Public Schools and Fulton County Schools.

Jurée has been honored by and received recognition for outstanding contributions to public services in: Fulton County Government - FOCUS Award Winner, Pinnacle Leadership Awardee through the Fortitude Educational & Cultural Development Center, and Woman of the Year (Finalist) with Women In Technology, Inc.

Jurée holds a B.S. in Sociology from Georgia State University and a Masters of Library and Information Sciences from Valdosta State University.

Jurée looks forward to strengthening and expanding the library's social impact programs. Jurée is passionate about empowering families and creating opportunities for lifelong learning in public spaces.
