Books by Mail
Baltimore City residents of all ages who are unable to visit the library due to a permanent or temporary disability can request Pratt Library materials to be sent to them via mail.
Books, audiobooks, Playaways, DVDs, and CDs are eligible to be borrowed through Books by Mail. Materials are shipped free of cost and customers are only responsible for handling the return of their items.
If you have not used Books by Mail before, please call (410) 396-5325 or email crc@prattlibrary.org to complete the application process.
Existing Books by Mail customers may request library materials by mail by calling (410) 396-5430 or by using our email form.
Returning Books
Book by Mail customers will receive a shipping label with their order but will be responsible for return postage costs. Books by Mail materials can also be returned to Pratt Library locations.
Sidewalk Service
We are pleased to offer Sidewalk Service, a contact-free way to check out and pick-up books and other materials from the Pratt Library.
Remote Printing
Your Pratt Library card now gives you access to a contact-free, remote printing service.
