Brooklyn Branch Renovations

The Brooklyn Branch is closed as of August 2024 for improvements including a full HVAC replacement, new windows, and new furniture including improved and more private computer workstations.

This renovation is being funded by American Rescue Plan funding through the Mayor’s Office of Recovery Programs, as well as with state funding.

Bookmobile Services

While the Brooklyn Branch is closed for renovations, the Bookmobile will be making regular stops at the branch to provide the neighborhood with library services, including:

• Holds pick-up, placing holds, and material returns
• Access to browse collections
• Pratt Library card or eCard registration
• Literature on Library events and programs
• Free internet access on site with Community Wi-Fi
• Hotspot lending
• Chromebook Distribution Pick-Up (Appointment required; see the Chromebook Distribution page for further information)

Bookmobile Schedule

The Bookmobile will be at Brooklyn from 11 am to 2:30 pm on the following dates:

• October 15 & 29
  
• November 12 & 26
