Baltimore City Chromebook Distribution
In partnership with Baltimore City Information & Technology and the Maryland Office of Statewide Broadband the Pratt Library has distributed 50,000 HP Chromebooks to eligible Baltimore City households. Through the Maryland Connected Devices Program (MD-CDP), efforts will continue to decrease the digital divide and increase digital literacy in the Baltimore City community.
As of December 20, 2024, the Chromebook distribution program is now complete.
If you are interested in borrowing a Chromebook, the Pratt still has you covered. Chromebooks may be borrowed from any location by customers 13 or older with a Pratt Library card.
For questions about the program including questions regarding missed appointments, please contact us at (443) 984-4944.
